2010 EVENTS

There are lots of activities and entertainment options at BYC this year. To view particular events and dates please refer to the social calendar.

June 11 - Danny Rembadi - Irish Pub Night - Under the Marquis, weather permitting, (if raining: Dragon Lounge) 6:30 - 9:30Come out and dance the night away.  Danny is very popular at BYC because of his loved performances of traditional Irish music. This is a very casual, relaxing evening, the BBQ will be smokin for light dinners and there is guaranteed to be a lively crowd.

June 18 - Sentimental Journey - Country Fest - Under the Marquis, weather permitting, (if raining: Dragon Lounge) 6:30 - 9:30 If you like country music, you will really have a good time!  Wear your jeans, stetsons & country boots.  Line dancing instructions and "sing a longs for the brave" will guarantee a fun evening. Ginette and Debbie have played at BYC for many years and members just love them.

June 25 - Roxy Swan - Rock & Roll - Under the Marquis, weather permitting, (if raining: Dragon Lounge) 6:30 - 9:30 Do you love music from the 70's & 80's ?  Roxy's band plays the best dancing music. Warn your dancing partner, they won't sit down all night! 

July 2 - Long Weekend - Canada Day - No entertainment scheduled.

July 16 - Easter Seals - Entertainment is at Nepean Sailing Club (we will not compete with our own entertainment at BYC)

July 23 - Tome Rowe, Sweet & The Back Beat - Harbor Fest - This night is magical, the harbor will be lit up with special lighting, participating boats will be serving appetizers, finger food dinners and yummy desserts. This is a wonderful chance to meet members and climb on board some beautiful yachts. This 80's rock and roll band is dynamite !   Don't miss this event, it will be the talk of the year!

July 30 - Baskins BBQ - Baskins Beach Camp Weekend - BBQ starts Saturday at 6:30, Corn boil, Caesar Salad, and Steak, BYOB.  This will be advertised on the BYC bulletin board in more detail very soon.  There will be a live band, children's games, campfire stories, and dancing till the wee hours.  Bring your tent and spend the weekend camping, or sail up to Baskin's Beach and bring your dingy taxi to the weekend.

August 6 - No Entertainment, too many members will be away on holidays, sorry.

August 13 - Endless Summer Band - Beach Party, Dinner/Dance, 7:00 pm Upper Deck, $35.00 This band is from Toronto. They are unbelievably talented and will bring the all-inclusive resort atmosphere to the Upper Deck.  Get ready to dance to the Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffet, Elvis, The Beatles, The Four Seasons, Mamma & Pappa's and many more.  Bring your friends, family and new potential members for a memorable time.
