Club news
Haul out:
- Boats in excess of 12,000 lbs. will be hauled out on Oct. 28 & 29th using the large mobile crane as we have in previous years.
- Boats less than 12,000 lbs.:
- Up to 40 boats will be hauled out with the new fixed crane from Oct. 3 to 27. Boat owners will be able to reserve a one hour slot, Monday to Saturday during this 4 week period to have their boat hauled out. Reservation of the 40 slots is on a ‘first come first served’ basis. If you are interested in having your boat hauled out by the fixed crane during the Oct. 3 – 27th time period please contact the office to reserve a slot.
- All other boats will be hauled out on Oct. 29th using the rented mobile crane.
- Boats less than 5,000 lbs. can be hauled out using the South Crane. If you do not have a trailer please contact the office to reserve the hydraulic trailer.
- Boats less than 3,000 lbs. can be hauled out using the North Crane. If you do not have a trailer please contact the office to reserve the hydraulic trailer.
- Wooden cradles for sailboats – must be replaced immediately with steel
- Painter lines – remove at haulout
- Crew Chiefs – to be announced
- Volunteers needed for traffic control on Oct. 29th
- safe overhang for a mast on a crutch on a boat-- four feet max.
- call the Club to get help de-mast; there will be staff and a list of Members ready to help
