Seeking a Board Member
Honourary Secretary (term 2009-2010)
We are currently looking for an individual who wants to serve on the BYC Board of Directors as Honourary Secretary.
The term of office will be from now until the AGM in December 2010, at which time elections will be held or nominations accepted for a one-year term.
Time commitment
The board meets once a month to make plans and discuss items. Time commitment varies for committee work and individual responsibilities.
Roles and responsibilities of the Honourary Secretary include:
- supporting the Board to meet its legislated requirements by recording outcomes of the board meetings
- preparing critical documents such as meeting agendas and minutes
- organizing and maintaining legal documents
- maintaining the yahoo web site for Board meeting documents
